Our client is the global leader in commercial real estate services and investments. With their current expansion, they are looking for a Quantity Surveyor in joining them.

Prepare and review cost estimates, including checking quotations and submissions from subcontractors, suppliers, and specialists before submitting to the Client for approval in a timely manner.

Monitor project budgets, prepare financial forecasts, and ensure proper cost and expenditure control for contractors’ works.

Handle the preparation of monthly progress claims and final accounts for contracts, ensuring all submissions to the Client are accurate, complete, and supported with the necessary documentation.

Assess claims for Work Orders and conduct site measurements whenever required.

Consolidate payment claims, interim payment certificates, Work Orders, and invoices, and ensure prompt submission to the Client for processing.

Assist in reviewing specifications, assessing tender proposals, recommending suitable submissions, and preparing contract documentation when required by the Client.

Review and confirm that all “star rate items” prior to commencement of works are fair, reasonable, and aligned with prevailing market rates for Client approval.

Gather, analyse, and maintain records of star rates and quotation rates to support future procurement exercises and cost benchmarking.

Minimum Diploma in Quantity Surveying, Commercial Management or a related Construction subject

Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar role

Candidates that are a registered member with SISV will have an added advantage.

Possesses good understanding of local market rates and pricing trends, particularly for fit-out projects.

Strong numerical and analytical abilities, with proficient knowledge of MS Excel, MS Word, and relevant commercial software applications.

Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.

Demonstrates strong problem-solving capabilities with confidence in identifying practical solutions.

A good team player with strong interpersonal and relationship management skills.
