Job Description

Our client is a leading technology company which designs and manufactures appliances. They have set up their headquarters in Singapore to ramp up their expansion.

They are currently looking for Field Service Engineer (Supervisor) to support their service centre by providing on-site service and technical support to their customers.

Candidates should be open to flexible retail hours and be able to provide 1st level support to customers.

  • Provide customers with technical support including the servicing/repairing of their products.
  • Responsible for the proper diagnosis, troubleshooting and repair of customer products and appliances.
  • Manage a team of Field Service Engineers to ensure KPI are met and deliver through a high-quality customer service experience.
  • Provide real time feedback to Team Lead regarding technical support issues.
  • Report any emerging product reliability and safety issues.
  • Compile, capture and report any emerging product reliability and safety issues.
  • Submit relevant reports on a daily/ weekly/ monthly basis.
  • Support the technical team in evaluation needs and repairs.
  • Assist Customer Care Manager in evaluating training needs.
  • Support all technical requirements of products and appliances and ensure all process activities are communicated, understood, and exercised.
  • Any other Ad-hoc duties.

  • A minimum 3-year experience as a Field Service Engineer or similar Customer Service role.
  • Basic Mechanical and/ or Electrical knowledge required.
  • High level of customer service orientation and computer literacy.
  • Able to adapt to a fast-changing environment, and open to shift work.
  • Strong command of English (spoken and written).
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Flexibility to regularly rotate through different technical specialities and skill sets.
  • Proven ability to build and maintain strong relationships with people at all levels of business is preferred.
